FAMILY FUN NIGHT A SUCCESS

Friday, January 25th, 2008

In an attempt to blur the winter blahs, combat the “there’s never anything to do here,” and gather folks together, we held our first (of which we hope will be many), “Family Fun Night.”  The evening was spent playing different card games, ping pong and a crowd favorite, Bunco.  In Bunco, there are no losers…..well, maybe Kent.  It takes 12 people who take turns rolling the dice and you are continually changing partners so you really get to visit with many different people.   Doesn’t matter what your age is, you just have to be able to toss the dice and yell “bunco.”

Everyone brought snacks to share, coffee and lemonade were provided.

Our next gathering will be Sunday, February 10th, at the Senior Citizen’s Center.  Fun will begin at 6:30 so please join us.  All age groups welcome and if you have a favorite game, bring that and we’ll give it a try.
