It all started when many people said they wanted to be president. through many tough and difficult caucuses and primaries. The Republicans were the first to decide thier party’s nomination, who was John McCain(R). Then it was left up to one of the most painful Democratic pick in the history of GOPs. The final led to a Barack Obama(D) win. With these two were picked, they then toured to country trying to wrap up some votes.Then they had to choose thier running mate. The Democratic VP is Joe Biden(D), and the Republican VP is Sarah Palin(R). There soon after the national conventions were held.
